With an educational background in Urban Planning, Archaeology and Fine Arts, Kara Uzelman uses scavenged materials to explore the possible past and future narratives of found objects. Uzelman’s process-based sculptures and site-specific installations have been shown internationally in both group and solo exhibitions. Most recently she has exhibited at The Vancouver Art Gallery (Vancouver, CA), Subvision (Hamburg, DE), The Power Plant (Toronto, CA), Le Commissariat (Paris, FR), The Temporare Kunsthalle (Berlin, DE) and Mercer Union (Toronto, CA).
