Currently living in Toronto, Margaux Williamson has had solo painting exhibitions in Los Angeles and New York as well as Toronto. Her video project, Teenager Hamlet, was exhibited at the Toronto International Film Festival. A movie version of the project was distributed as a DVD in Canada in 2010 and will be distributed in the U.S. for 2011. Most recently, she has been contributing weekly movie reviews to the cultural site Back to the World. Her work has been reviewed and featured by Toronto weeklies, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The Artfag, Canadian Art Magazine, among other publications.
